This year, the Baltimore City Youth Commission in conjunction with Task Force Marketing & Media Group, LLc efforts are to engage youth, Baltimore City, and community-based agencies with the kick off of the 2011 Summer Block Party Series, starring recording artist: BOSSMAN, CADDY DA DON, SMASH, SHIRE’, BALTIMORE RAY, LANO, “Q”, Special Guest Performances by: FUSEDMV, O’LORD, SMALLZ (Winner of 92Q Six Flags Talent), SKI-MONEY, FULL PROOF and more to be announced. Members of the Baltimore City Youth Commission will partner with Taskforce Marketing & Media Group on the Youth B’More Initiative.
The Baltimore City Youth Commission aims to support, children, youth, and their families. Task Force Marketing and New Media Group’s CEO, Frank Johnson (who will oversee the entertainment) has over twenty years of executive standing in the music industry working under mentor Kevin Liles as well as an extraordinary knack for organizing talent and activities for the youth that creates an environment that breeds peace, love, unity and having fun. Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake’s Youth Bmore Initiative encourages leveraging these partnerships, which ultimately put together free block parties and productive activities for all children and families in the community. Summer Block Parties are scheduled for the following dates and areas:
